A Refreshed Retreat for a Busy Family
This lovely historic cottage needed to be reworked for this family with three boys. We renovated the primary bedroom and bathroom, added a wonderful outdoor entertaining area and a grill, and decorated the rest of the house. The mother is a lover of color, and we designed with her in mind, with pretty painted finishes, wallpaper, and patterned fabric—of course in durable indoor/outdoor fabric on all high-traffic furniture to accommodate the boys. The result…a house that feels fresh and settled at the same time—just like the family who lives there.
