With older kids and a renewed focus on creating a space that reflects their lifestyle and love of travel, we helped them tackle a renovation of their primary suite, kitchen and keeping room. The kitchen opens directly to a keeping room and breakfast area and needed a fresh update. We used quartzite stone in the kitchen and added wallpaper to the low ceiling for visual interest. We added jewel toned patterned fabrics and a custom yellow ottoman to enliven the sitting area where the family spends most of their time. In the primary bedroom, the client asked that we make it look and feel as luxurious as the 5-star European hotels they often visit. We chose a soft and soothing color palate and added pops of coral in bespoke monogrammed bedding and a custom bed hanging. The outdated bathroom was gutted and we added new brass fixtures and a beautiful mosaic floor to create a luxurious retreat. Our client’s love for color and pattern shines through in every detail.
